The Trainer will be responsible for managing and delivering training sessions and community awareness programs on climate change vulnerability, impacts, and adaptive practices relevant to the local context in Takhar and Kunduz.

• Design training materials tailored to the local environment and community needs.
• Conduct climate change awareness sessions for local community members, youth, farmers, and local leaders.
• Assess pre- and post-training knowledge to evaluate effectiveness.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for future capacity building.
• Prepare training reports and document them

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Environmental Science, Climate Change, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in training, facilitation, or awareness campaigns, preferably in rural Afghanistan.
• Deep understanding of climate change impacts in Afghanistan.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with NGOs or UN agencies is a plus.
• Fluency in Dari and Pashto; basic English skills are an asset.
