Cultural Week Ceremony

The cultural week ceremony was held by the Ministry of Information and Culture in the Babur Garden of Kabul on 11 August,2018.
Hussein Safi, head of the Ministry of Information and Culture, Deputy Ministers, Advisers, and Chiefs of the Ministry, Presidential Advisor Abdul Ghafoorilaw, Abdullah Habibzai, Head of the Kabul Municipality, Najibullah Munli, Cultural Advisor to the Security Council National, a number of government officials and cultural figures participated in this celebration.

The cultural week is designed for painting exhibitions, calligraphy, prints, books, photographs of Aynak copper, handicrafts, agricultural products, displays of works by the National Museum and the Department of Archeology, domestic films, theater, music, and sports for one week.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Hussein Safi, head of the Ministry of Information and Culture, said: “One of the main tasks of this ministry is to protect the authentic culture of Afghanistan. Therefore, the Ministry of Information and Culture has done significant work in this regard.”

“The purpose of the Cultural Week is to recognize the country’s noble culture as the most original culture of the country, and the first program of the cultural week was celebrated in Parwan province, and then in the provinces of Nangarhar, Ghazni, Khost “And” Kapisa “, and this program will continue in other provinces of the country.”

On the first day of the ceremony, about 45 paintings, and drawings from the Department of Fine Arts of ANAFAE were exhibited which was highly appreciated by the participants.

The artwork (Painting) that was performed alive by the artist of ANAFAE was donated to Mohammad Rasool Bavari, Culture and Art Ministry of Information and Culture.

The Ministry of Information and Culture expressed its gratitude to ANAFAE for Sustainable Activities. He mentioned ANAFAE as the best contributor to the Ministry of Culture.

The second day of the ceremony was held in Bagh Zanana where ANAFAE fine art department exhibited it’s other 45 art works. was highly appreciated by the deputy minister of Women’s affairs Spozhmai Wardak and other Artisans. It is worth mentioning that one of the ALC4 art students gave one of her artworks to Ms. Wardak as a gift.

The third day of the ceremony was held in Bagh-i- Zazai with the huge participation of art lovers. About 40 paintings, calligraphy, miniature paintings, sculptures and sculptures from professors and students of the Department of Fine Arts of ANAFAE were exhibited in this ceremony. The ceremony was opened by Mahboubeh Babakarkhel, head of the Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture. The art exhibition was warmly welcomed by the participants.

We congrats ANAFAE for it’s other success. It is a big pleasure for ANAFAE to exhibit its artworks and book the first three days of the cultural week among other organizations, and we wish more success for ANAFAE.
